One of the things that I am hoping to do more of here is put short stories, or story ideas etc here. Sometimes I find that an idea nags at me for weeks until I write it down, sometimes I forget them a lot quicker. I really wish I had taken to jotting down notes of ideas before this.

End Of Days
In all the religious texts of the world the End of Days was always going to be a loud explosive time. A time that let everyone know that the end was coming, yet if you think about it, gave us all time to repent our sins and gain forgiveness.
But that wasn't what happened at all.
The End came with no warning at all, and when it did.
It was quiet!
Deadly quiet, the quiet of sleep. And that's exactly what happened. All around the world people stopped what they were doing, put their heads down and went to sleep.
For all that it was quiet, people still died. Though no where in the numbers that had been foretold. Most of those that died were the elderly and the sick, though people unlucky enough to be having surgery died during that.
Time passed while we all slept, but no one has ever been able to work out how long the sleep last for. All we do know for certain is that when we woke the world was different.
Very very different.
